MEALS, REST PERIODS and PAID SICK LEAVE SECTION 1. MEAL PERIODS a) Employees shall not be required to work more than five (5) hours from the start of the shift without at least a one-half (½) hour unpaid meal period. This meal period shall not begin earlier than three and one-half (3½) hours after the start of the shift.
