Common use of Mechanic Certification Pay Clause in Contracts

Mechanic Certification Pay. Employees who work in the Mechanic series and possess certification from the California State Fire Training Academy and/or ASE Certifications at the level established as the minimum qualification for their classification, will receive 1% of their base salary in certification pay. Employees in the Mechanic series who exceed the level of certification established as the minimum qualification will be eligible to receive an additional 1.5% of their base pay for a total certification pay of up to 2.5% for designated certifications.
