Mechanical Shock. At the manufacturer´s choice the test may be performed as, either (a) Vehicle based tests in accordance with paragraph 6.4.1.1. of this Regulation, or (b) Component based tests in accordance with paragraph 6.4.1.2. of this Regulation, or (c) Any combination of (a) and (b) above, for different direction of vehicle travel.
