Media Center. The district will make every effort to continue to provide a media center staffed by a media specialist in each school to supplement and complement the required curriculum.

Media Center. Paraprofessionals - The primary responsibilities of these paraprofessionals involve the maintenance and operation of media centers, collections and programs as determined by the building principal.
Media Center. The parties hereto recognize the importance of the concept of the Media Center in each school as part of the district education program. In recognition of this concept, the following guidelines are desirable: Elementary School One (1) full time certified librarian/media specialist for each 500 students, or major fraction thereof; plus one (1) full time media secretary for each 500 students; plus one (1) full time equivalent media aide for each 500 students.

FIELD TRIPS Field Trips offer exciting ways to learn. TMSA students will have the opportunity to go on field trips at various times throughout the school year. Grade level and/or team sponsored day field trips are offered to most students. Students who have received an out-of-school suspension (OSS) during the school year will not be eligible to participate in any overnight field trips for the rest of the school year and any fees or deposits paid earlier are non-refundable. In addition, any student who has demonstrated the inability to follow rules may be prohibited from participating - this determination will be made by the administration on an individual basis. For all field trips, you will be expected to follow these rules: ● You must abide by the TMSA Code of Conduct and Discipline Plan while on the field trip. ● You must follow the TMSA Dress Code. ● You must bring to school the Field Trip Permission Slip, signed by your parents or guardian, by the specified date. No phone calls or e-mails will be accepted as permission.
