MEDICATION AND MEDICAL PROCEDURES. 52:01 An employee shall not be required to administer medication or perform health support services unless these activities are specific requirements included in their job description for which they have been trained. The Board recognizes that it retains all legal responsibilities for the actions of employees acting within the scope of their job description. 52:02 The employer shall, through existing or supplementary insurance coverage, adequately insure personnel against claims arising from the administration of medication and/or the performance of health support services and procedures.
