Common use of MERIT QUALIFICATIONS Clause in Contracts

MERIT QUALIFICATIONS. All hiring done in connection with this contract must be on the basis of merit qualifications genuinely related to competent performance of the particular occupational task. The MCO, in accordance with Federal Executive Order 11246, dated September 24, 1965 entitled "Equal Employment Opportunity", as amended by Federal Executive Order 11375 and as supplemented in the United States Department of Labor Regulations , 41 CFR Part 60-1, et seq., must provide for equal employment opportunities in its employment practices.
