Meteorological Service Sample Clauses
The Meteorological Service clause defines the responsibilities and provisions related to the supply and use of weather information in the context of a contract or project. Typically, this clause outlines which party is responsible for obtaining meteorological data, the standards or sources to be used, and how such information will be communicated or relied upon during the execution of the work. For example, it may specify that the contractor must use official government weather reports to plan construction activities or to justify delays due to adverse weather. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all parties have a clear, agreed-upon basis for referencing weather conditions, thereby reducing disputes and providing a fair framework for addressing weather-related impacts on performance or scheduling.
