Common use of Mileage/Travel Clause in Contracts

Mileage/Travel. a) No mileage allowance or travel time will be paid when the nurse is scheduled for a single site shift. b) When the distance to the client’s home is greater than twenty-five (25) kilometers from the nurse’s home, mileage will be paid from the nurse’s home to the client’s home and vice versa. The mileage will be paid after twenty-five (25) kilometers have been traveled each way at the rate according to article 20.01. c) Where a nurse is scheduled to work at more than one site, she will be paid for travel time between sites and for mileage at the rate according to Article 20.01

Mileage/Travel. a) No mileage allowance or travel time will be paid when the nurse is scheduled for a single site shift. b) When shift unless the distance to the client’s home single site is greater than twenty-five in excess of forty (2540) kilometers from the nurse’s home, mileage will be paid from of the nurse’s home or from the branch office (whichever is closest to the client’s home and vice versa. The mileage will ) in which case the nurse shall be paid after twenty-five (25) kilometers have been traveled each way for mileage, at the rate according to article set out in Article 20.01. c) , commencing and terminating at the forty-kilometer point. Where a nurse is scheduled to work at more than one site, site she will be paid for a maximum of one-half (0.5) hour travel time between sites and for mileage at the rate according to Article 20.01sites.
