Common use of Military Points Clause in Contracts

Military Points. Upon posting of the preliminary list, any candidate that qualifies for additional points due to military service will have 10 days to apply for military points. Points will not be awarded in the event that a candidate has received credit for military services a previous promotional process. Military points shall be calculated in compliance with Chapter 65 of the Illinois Municipal Code, Section 10-2.1-11. Awarding of these points provides the potential for a candidate to receive a score higher than 100, and are not considered a part of the total points calculation for the other components of the testing process.
