Mineral Fibres Allowance. ‌ 1.1 Employees required to handle or install tiles or panel containing mineral fibres or other hazardous substances that require the wearing of personal protective equipment that is in addition (e.g. face masks, gloves etc.) to minimum site requirements (e.g. safety boots, safety helmets, long pants) will be paid a flat hourly Mineral Fibres Allowance as follows: 1.2 Employees in receipt of the Mineral Fibres Allowance must wear the appropriate personal protective equipment and must be trained in the proper fitting, use and maintenance of that equipment.
