The "Minimizing Disruption of the Educational Process" clause is designed to ensure that any actions, decisions, or interventions taken under the agreement do not unduly interfere with the normal functioning of educational activities. In practice, this clause may require parties to schedule maintenance, construction, or other potentially disruptive activities outside of instructional hours, or to implement measures that limit noise and interruptions during school operations. Minimizing Disruption of the Educational Process. It shall be the general policy of (law enforcement agency) when making any arrest on school grounds to minimize the disruption of the school environment to the greatest extent possible, consistent with the requirements of public safety. Accordingly, substantial weight shall be given by the law enforcement officer assigned to make the arrest to the specific recommendations of the building principal or local chief school administrator as to the time, place, and manner for effecting the arrest.
