Minimum compensation and Health Benefits. Effective July 1st of each year, Contractor shall pay adjusted Living Wage rates, dependent on whether health benefits are included. The current Living Wage Rates for each year can be found at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx/departments/workplace-employment-standards. Contractor agrees to pay the rates as upwardly adjusted each year no later than April 1 in proportion to the increase at the immediately preceding December 31 over the year earlier level of the Bay Region Consumer Price Index as published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor. Contractor shall provide proof that health benefits are in effect for those employees at the lower living wage rate no later than 30 days after execution of the Contract.
