Minister’s Designation of Chair. In accordance with subsection 12(14) of the Act, the Minister shall designate the Chair from among the Board members and for this purpose the Minister shall have regard to the views of the Board, the competency criteria used by the Board, qualifications or rules established by any Minister’s order under subsections 12(8) or (9) of the Act, the RHRA’s succession planning, and any other matter the Minister considers advisable in the circumstances.
