Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) Initiative. Pursuant to EOs 13555 and13270, as amended, Treasury is strongly committed to broadening the participation of MSIs in its financial assistance programs. Treasury’s goals include achieving full participation of MSIs in order to advance the development of human potential, strengthen the nation’s capacity to provide high-quality education, and increase opportunities for MSIs to participate in and benefit from federal financial assistance programs. Treasury encourages recipients to include meaningful participation of MSIs.
