Modification Based on Change of Law or Regulations. If any party to this Agreement contends that there is a change in any applicable law or regulation, which will necessitate a modification under section 7.1, that party shall notify counsel for the other parties in writing. The notification will include the way in which the party contends the Agreement should be modified as a result of the change in law or regulation. The proposed modification will become effective thirty (30) days after such notification unless counsel for the other parties object in writing to the proposed modification. In the event of disagreement between the parties over the appropriate modifications to this Agreement as contemplated by this Section, the parties shall meet and confer and shall work together in good faith to resolve the disagreement. The proposed modification will become effective thirty (30) days after such notification unless counsel for the other parties object in writing to the proposed modification; provided, however, that no modification shall be effective before the mandatory compliance date of such statutory or regulatory amendment. In the event of disagreement between the parties over the appropriate modifications to this Agreement as contemplated by this Section, the parties shall meet and confer and shall work together in good faith to resolve the disagreement. Failure to reach agreement during such meet and confer shall be considered a dispute to be resolved pursuant to section 9 Section 7 of this Agreement.
