Modified Definitions. For purposes of this Article 12, IDEC Patents, Genentech Patents and Genentech NP Patents shall not include Patents owned jointly by the Parties. "Joint Patents" shall mean Patents owned jointly by the Parties which cover the manufacture, use or sale of Franchise Products.
