Summer (extended school year) Programs Drivers will volunteer to drive for the summer program prior to the end of the regular school year. If there are not enough volunteers to work the summer programs, then it will be required that the lowest seniority transportation staff (drivers and bus attendants) will work the summer hours scheduled. The need will be determined by the number of drivers and attendants assigned.
