Nantucket Lightship Closed Area. 5 This exemption allows sector vessels to access portions of the Nantucket Lightship Closed Area to provide 6 additional opportunities to target monkfish, dogfish, and skates. 13 Management Area of the Harbor Porpoise Take Reduction Plan. 14 15 The Western and Eastern Nantucket Lightship Closed Areas are defined by lines connecting the points 16 listed below in the order stated. 17 18 Western Nantucket Lightship Closed Area 19 20 22 Eastern Nantucket Lightship Closed Area 23 24 25 26 Any vessel that intends to access the Western or Eastern Nantucket Lightship Closed Areas must declare 27 a closed area trip through the VMS trip start hail by checking the box next to “Closed Area Trip” under 28 sector exemptions. Trip Start Hails must be submitted prior to departure. The sector must follow any 29 additional trip declaration or reporting requirements that NMFS implements during the fishing year. 30
