Common use of Natural Hazard Disclosure Clause in Contracts

Natural Hazard Disclosure. Buyer acknowledges that Seller has commissioned Title Company or its affiliate to prepare a natural hazard disclosure statement for the Property (the “Natural Hazard Disclosure”), including the matters required by Article 1.7 of the California Civil Code (currently Section 1103 through 1103.15). Buyer acknowledges that this transaction is not subject to such Article 1.7, but that, nevertheless, the Natural Hazard Disclosure shall serve to satisfy any and all disclosure requirements relating to the matters referenced in the Natural Hazard Disclosure. Seller does not warrant or represent either the accuracy or completeness of the information in the Natural Hazard Disclosure, and Buyer shall use same merely as a part in its overall investigation of the Property.
