New Preparation Clause Samples

New Preparation. Any new course that a full-time academic employee has never taught before as reflected by course number, name, and content. The course will be considered new if significant changes have been made to an existing class such that it would be considered a new course as determined by the instructional administrator.
New Preparation. Typically, a tenured academic employee shall not be assigned more than four new preparations during any one academic year appointment. Exceptions may be granted at the request of the employee.
