Common use of New Taxes and Assessments Clause in Contracts

New Taxes and Assessments. To the extent allowed by state or federal law, no new taxes, assessments or other charges not in force and effect as of the Approval Date shall be levied against the Property, the Project or Owner except as specified in this Agreement. No increase in an existing tax, assessment or other charge shall be levied, even if an increase already is specified or authorized in applicable City codes and regulations.
