Common use of News and Current Affairs Clause in Contracts

News and Current Affairs. (a) If a segment is to be transmitted as a news item or used as a current affairs program or any other type of program content the transmission time shall not exceed fifteen minutes and shall only be used during the life of the production in Australia and New Zealand. (b) The maximum time of any recording call outside the theatre shall be four hours. All time worked in excess of four hours shall be paid for at the Employee’s Overtime Rate.
