Common use of No-Cost Extension Clause in Contracts

No-Cost Extension. The term of this Grant Agreement may be extended with no additional funding by a written notice signed by the Department in order to allow the Grantee to continue to use the funds to perform the work of this Grant Agreement at the same terms and conditions as this Grant Agreement for an additional period of time. For the purpose of this extension, the funding amount is limited to the funds not spent by the Grantee by the end of the Budget period. At no time will the length of this Grant Agreement exceed 5 years including any extension.
