Common use of NO EMPLOYMENT OR AGENCY Clause in Contracts

NO EMPLOYMENT OR AGENCY. 12.1 Nothing contained in this Agreement will be construed or have effect as constituting any relationship of employer and employee between the Company and the Contractor. 12.2 Nothing in this Agreement will constitute the Contractor as acting as an agent of the Company. The Contractor will not have any right or power whatsoever to contract on behalf of the Company or bind the Company in any way in relation to third parties unless specifically authorised to do so by the Company and the Contractor will not hold itself out as having any such authority. 12.3 Nothing contained in this Agreement will constitute a partnership or joint venture between the Company and the Contractor.
