No Mitigation Obligation; Effect on Other Rights. The payment of the severance compensation by the Company to the Executive in accordance with the terms of this Section 8 is hereby acknowledged by the Company to be reasonable, and the Executive will not be required to mitigate the amount of any payment provided for in this Section 8 by seeking other employment or otherwise, except as expressly provided in the last sentence of Section 8(c)(5). This Section 8 will not affect any rights (other than any rights to severance, termination, retention or similar compensation or benefits) that the Executive may have pursuant to any agreement, plan or policy of the Company or a subsidiary thereof providing employee benefits, which rights shall be governed by the terms thereof.
