Common use of NO ORGANIZATIONAL CONFLICT OF INTEREST Clause in Contracts

NO ORGANIZATIONAL CONFLICT OF INTEREST. Consultant hereby certifies that it has no actual or potential Organizational Conflict of Interest. “Organizational Conflict of Interest” means that because of other activities or relationships with other persons or entities, the Consultant is unable or potentially unable to render impartial assistance or advice to Authority or the Consultant’s objectivity in performing the services under this Contract is or might otherwise be impaired. Consultant agrees to immediately notify Authority of any actual or potential Organizational Conflict of Interest that develops during the term of this Contract. Consultant agrees that Authority may terminate this Contract immediately if it becomes aware of any Organizational Conflict of Interest during the term of the Contract. In accordance with Chapter 2270, Texas Government Code, a governmental entity may not enter into a contract with a company for goods or services unless the contract contains a written verification from the company that it: (1) does not boycott Israel; and (2) will not boycott Israel during the term of the contract. The signatory executing this contract on behalf of company verifies that the company does not boycott Israel and will not boycott Israel during the term of this contract.
