No Pledging or Assignment of Contract Funds Without City Approval. The Contractor may not pledge, transfer, or assign any interest in this Contract or contract funds due or to become due without the prior written approval of the CPO. Any such attempted pledge, transfer, or assignment, without the prior written approval of the CPO is void as to the City and will be deemed an event of default under this Contract.
