Common use of No Real Property Interest Created Clause in Contracts

No Real Property Interest Created. Neither LICENSEE's use of the Public Rights-of-Way, nor anything contained in this Agreement, shall be deemed to grant, convey, create, or vest in LICENSEE a real property interest in any portion of the Public Rights-of-Way or any other City/Village/Township property, including but not limited to, any fee or leasehold interest in any land or easement. LICENSEE, on behalf of itself and any permitted successor or assign, recognizes and understands that this Agreement may create an interest subject to taxation and that LICENSEE, its successor or assign shall be subject to and responsible for the payment of such taxes.
