No Restriction on Provider’s Ability to Advise and Counsel. (A) The Contractor may not restrict a health care Provider’s ability to advise and counsel Enrollees about Medically Necessary treatment options. (B) All Providers acting within his or her scope of practice, shall be permitted to freely advise an Enrollee about his or her health status and discuss appropriate medical care or treatment for that condition or disease regardless of whether the care or treatment is a Covered Service.
