Non-Admitted Carriers. The City will accept insurance provided by non-admitted, “surplus lines” carriers only if the carrier is authorized to do business in the State state of California and is included on the List of Eligible Approved Surplus Lines InsurersInsurers (LASLI list). All policies of insurance carried by non-admitted carriers shall be subject to all of the requirements for policies of insurance provided by admitted carriers described in this Contract.
