Common use of Non-Appropriation; Adequate Funding Clause in Contracts

Non-Appropriation; Adequate Funding. a. If payment for work under this Contract extends into the District’s next fiscal year (July 1 to June 30), the District’s obligation to pay for such work is subject to appropriation of budgeted funds sufficient to fund this Contract by the District board of directors. b. Continuation of this Contract, at specified levels, is conditioned on adequate funding under the District’s budget adopted in June of each year. The District reserves the right to adjust the level of services in accordance with funding levels adopted.
