Increasing Seat Belt Use in the United States Pursuant to Executive Order 13043, 62 FR 19217 (Apr. 18, 1997), Recipient should encourage its contractors to adopt and enforce on-the- job seat belt policies and programs for their employees when operating company-owned, rented or personally owned vehicles.
SECTION 109 OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974 The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. TRUTH IN NEGOTIATION CERTIFICATE Signature of this Contract by the CONTRACTOR shall act as the execution of the truth-in- negotiation certificate certifying that the wage rates and costs used to determine the compensation provided for in this Contract are accurate, complete and current as of the date of the Contract and no higher than those charged the CONTRACTOR’S most favored customer for the same or substantially similar service. The said rates and costs shall be adjusted to exclude any significant sums should the COUNTY determine that the rates and costs were increased due to inaccurate, incomplete or non-current wage rates or due to inaccurate representations of fees paid to outside Contractors. The COUNTY shall exercise its right under this “Certificate” within one (1) year following final payment.

Domestic Iron and Steel Certification Pursuant to Sections 2252.201-2252.205 of the Government Code, Service Provider certifies that it is in compliance with the requirement that any iron or steel product produced through a manufacturing process and used in the project is produced in the United States.
State Approval of Replacement Personnel The Engineer may not replace the project manager or key personnel without prior consent of the State. The State must be satisfied that the new project manager or other key personnel is qualified to provide the authorized services. If the State determines that the new project manager or key personnel is not acceptable, the Engineer may not use that person in that capacity and shall replace him or her with one satisfactory to the State within forty-five (45) days.
