Non-Probationary Without an Assignment. for Two Hiring Cycles Non-probationary educators who have not secured a certified position after two (2) hiring cycles shall be placed on an unpaid leave of absence. A hiring cycle is defined as March 1 – August 31. The first hiring cycle shall begin at the time of notification of the elimination of the position. The second hiring cycle shall be March 1 – August 31 of the next year.
