Common use of Non-Reappointment Clause in Contracts

Non-Reappointment. Should a Faculty member not be selected for reappointment, s/he shall be notified by the College accordingly and shall be told whether s/he may be considered for appointment in the future. If the College informs the Faculty member that s/he will not be considered for appointment in the future, then the Faculty member shall be considered terminated.

Non-Reappointment. Should a Faculty part-time faculty member not be selected for reappointmentreappointment to teach a course, s/he shall be notified in writing by the College accordingly and shall be told whether s/he may be considered for appointment in the future. If the College informs the Faculty part-time faculty member that s/he will not be considered for appointment in the future, then the Faculty part-time faculty member shall be considered terminated.
