Non-Specified Subcontractors Sample Clauses
The Non-Specified Subcontractors clause defines the rules and procedures for engaging subcontractors who are not explicitly named in the contract. Typically, this clause requires the main contractor to seek approval from the client or project owner before hiring any such subcontractors, and may set standards or criteria that these subcontractors must meet. Its core function is to give the client oversight and control over the parties involved in the project, thereby reducing risks related to quality, compliance, or performance by ensuring all subcontractors are vetted and acceptable to the client.
