Nonconforming Material. Any material identified as nonconforming material shall be isolated and segregated in a secure location. Nonconforming material shall be clearly identified with the SUPPLIER part number, the BUYER part number, reason for rejection and date of rejection. SUPPLIER must dispose of all nonconforming material within 96 hours of discovery of nonconformance. In the event that SUPPLIER, BUYER or a Component supplier identifies discrepant material in WIP Products, SUPPLIER shall immediately purge all discrepant material from WIP Products, remove such material from inventory and store it in the secure location. Upon completion of such purge procedure, SUPPLIER shall provide to BUYER written verification that WIP Products and inventory have been purged of the discrepant material.
Nonconforming Material. Nonconforming material is a term used to denote raw materials, parts, components, assemblies, and finished goods at any stage of the production cycle in which one or more quality characteristics do not conform to design specifications and Buyer’s requirements. If nonconforming material is identified by the Seller, immediate action must be taken to eliminate the detected nonconformity and prevent delivery to the Buyer. Seller must notify and obtain approval from the Buyer regarding the disposition of any material hereunder found to be nonconforming. Nonconforming material that is corrected must be reverified or retested to ensure conformance to the original requirements or specifications. If any material hereunder is determined to be nonconforming by the Seller following delivery to the Buyer, the Seller must provide timely notification to the Buyer of the nonconformity and the effects, or potential effects, of the nonconformity. Should it become necessary for Buyer to return any nonconforming material hereunder, Xxxxx will return it collect, uninsured, except as provided below, F.O.B. shipping point, at Seller’s expense. Xxxxx will notify the Seller immediately upon rejection of nonconforming material. Should the Seller desire to provide shipping instructions contrary to the above, it shall notify Buyer within a reasonable time but in any event, prior to date of shipment. When it is determined that the Seller is responsible for the nonconforming material, the Seller is required to respond to the Buyer’s request for root cause and corrective action. Failure to respond within the time frame requested shall constitute a material breach of contract.
Nonconforming Material. Any decision to accept any nonconformance (variance from Rainbow Mykotronx's drawings and specifications), detected at vendor/supplier facilities, must be made by Rainbow Mykotronx unless otherwise specified by the procurement document. Vendor/supplier shall provide for identification, control and segregation of nonconforming material detected at vendor/supplier facilities.
Nonconforming Material. The Seller shall notify the Buyer of any nonconforming material and ensure that the material will not be shipped without Buyer’s prior approval.
Nonconforming Material. 11.3.1 Material that does not meet specification is segregated and clearly identified. Controls are in place to ensure that only accepted product is used during manufacturing and moved into finished goods. Any product identified as non-conforming is documented, evaluated, and dispositioned. Dispositions may include Accept As Is, Accept Not A Defect, Rework In House, Return To Supplier, or Scrap. Non-conformances are reviewed on a periodic basis to evaluate process controls and supplier performance.
Nonconforming Material. <Private Partner> will retrieve nonconforming repair material provided to the OC-ALC and exchange the repair material with conforming repair material at no expense to OC-ALC. Nonconforming material shall be handled IAW CMXG Instruction 21-0006, Nonconforming Material Review (NCMR) Actions & Processing of AFMC IMT Form 202 (Nonconforming Technical Assistance Request and Reply).
Nonconforming Material. Buyer reserves the right to return nonconforming parts (material) to Seller at the Seller’s expense. Seller will be debited until discrepant parts are accepted by the Buyer’s quality department. If parts are scrapped it is the sole responsibility of Seller to replace material in an expedient manor acceptable to Buyer.
Nonconforming Material. Items that do not conform to technical requirements and where normal repair procedures cannot be applied.
Nonconforming Material. Known defective raw materials, subassemblies, equipment or any product affecting quality may not be shipped to the buyer without prior documented approval. The buyer does not authorize the seller to make "use-as-is" or "repair" dispositions on any nonconforming raw material, sub- assembly, or machinery used in buyer's production processes, or for any process affecting quality of buyer's product unless documented approval is obtained by the seller. If a non-conformance is detected by the seller for any shipped product, the seller shall notify the buyer within twenty-four (24) hours.
Nonconforming Material. Material that fails to meet the physical properties (dimensions, material, coating, treatment, etc.) as specified in the approved technical data.
