Common use of Not an Agent of the City Clause in Contracts

Not an Agent of the City. Nothing in this Agreement shall be interpreted so as to render the City the agent, employer, or partner of the Consultant, or the employer of anyone working for the Consultant, and the Consultant must not do anything that would result in anyone working for the Consultant being considered an employee of the City. The Consultant is not, and must not claim to be, an agent of the City.
