Notice by Administrator. Within fourteen (14) days after receiving notice by either an Employee or by the Employer of one of the qualifying events as shown above, the Administrator shall notify the Employee or the Dependent of:
(a) the right to elect to continue coverage, and
(b) the time period in which the election must be made. Notice to an Employee’s Spouse is considered to be notice to all children living with that Spouse.
Notice by Administrator. The Administrator's decision shall be conveyed to the claimant in writing and shall include specific reasons for the decision, written in a manner calculated to be understood by the claimant, with specific references to the pertinent Plan provisions on which the decision is based. The Administrator's decision shall be binding and conclusive with respect to all persons interested therein unless the Administrator has no reasonable basis for its decision.
