Notification of an Overpayment. 7.4.1 The Housing Benefit regulations state that any person affected by a decision relating to an overpayment must be notified in writing. 7.4.2 EK Services will send a notification within 14 days of the decision stating clearly the reasons for the overpayment and why it is recoverable. We will advise the customer of their rights of appeal/review.
