Notification of breakdowns. The hirer shall notify the owner, within twenty-four (24) hours, of the occurrence of any breakdown or malfunction of the hired material, immediately ceasing to use the machinery if there is a foreseeable, possible or likely risk for the health and safety of the persons operating the machinery or operating within its working area. The hirer is not entitled to make any claim for damages, loss or loss of income as a result of mechanical breakdown or electrical failure.
