Notification to New Hire Employees. 15 New Hire RNs will acknowledge in writing the receipt of information regarding 16 Association membership options, and designate their choice in writing no later than the 17 31st day after the date of hire. The Association, upon request, may inspect such 18 documents. Hospital officials will provide information to new hires and applicants about 19 Association membership options in a neutral manner, without attempting to influence a 20 nurse’s choice. Hospital officials shall explain in writing and have the new hire nurses 21 sign a statement of agreement/acknowledgement of their obligation to fulfill and maintain 22 one of the options presented them as a condition of employment at ARRMC. One copy 23 of this statement shall be placed in the personnel file of the nurse and a copy sent to the 24 Association. 25
