NOXIOUS WEEDS DISCLOSURE. Buyers of property in the State of Montana should be aware that some properties contain noxious weeds. The laws of the State of Montana require owners of property within this state to control, and to the extent possible, eradicate noxious weeds. For information concerning noxious weeds and your obligations as an owner of property, contact either your local County extension agent or Weed Control Board.
NOXIOUS WEEDS DISCLOSURE. Mont. Code Xxx. § 7-22-2116, provides that it is unlawful for any person to permit any noxious weeds to propagate or go to seed on the person’s land, with the exception stated in the statute. The parties recognize that there are noxious weeds on vacant lands in Montana and noxious weeds may exist on the Property.

Some properties in Montana contain noxious weeds and property owners are legally required to control and eradicate noxious weeds. Information regarding a property owners’ obligations can be obtained from the local County extension agent or the Weed Control Board.

The State of Montana and Missoula County have established certain requirements for the control of noxious weeds.
