NPA Qualification Clause Samples
The NPA Qualification clause defines the criteria and conditions under which a party or entity is recognized as a Non-Performing Asset (NPA) for the purposes of the agreement. Typically, this clause outlines specific financial thresholds, timeframes of non-payment, or other performance indicators that must be met before an asset is classified as non-performing. For example, it may specify that a loan is considered an NPA if payments are overdue for more than 90 days. The core function of this clause is to establish clear and objective standards for identifying NPAs, thereby ensuring consistency in financial reporting and risk management.
