Common use of Number of Failures Clause in Contracts

Number of Failures. The number of failures is the total number of trouble reports (by category) where the trouble was closed out to a code indicating that the fault was a BA service problem. Removed from the total trouble reports will be all troubles that reflect the cause of the trouble to be other than a Bell Atlantic Network fault. Examples would be troubles caused by Customer Provided Equipment (CPE), errors by the customers/end user in the use of the service or where no trouble was detected (F/OK and T/OK).
