Common use of OBJECT AND SCOPE Clause in Contracts

OBJECT AND SCOPE. 3.1 Subject to Article 8.9 and Article 18, the Supplier agrees to supply to the Purchaser and the Purchaser agrees to purchase from the Supplier the SUMF Items described herein under the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement. Except as otherwise provided in Schedule 2, the Purchaser shall purchase the amounts of each SUMF Item up to its Firm Capacity Reservation until termination of the supply of such SUMF Item in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement or the relevant Schedule.

Upon entrance into this Agreement, the Prior SUMF Agreement shall terminate and be of no further force or effect.
