Obligations and Reports. Teachers have the obligation to enforce school rules and regulations and to enforce the discipline standards of the school in all areas of school operation. If any teacher is accused of a violation of law in connection with the teacher’s employment duties, the teacher and the principal shall make written response as to the accusations and circumstances to the superintendent within five (5) days of the occurrence. A teacher charged with a crime involving moral turpitude or the commission of a felony in connection with their employment, shall report the charges as soon as possible to the principal. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
