Common use of Obtaining Rights Clause in Contracts

Obtaining Rights. TITANIUM (and not DISTRIBUTOR) shall have the sole right, but not the obligation, to pursue copyright, patent and trademark protection, in its sole discretion, for the Products and any Intellectual Property Rights incorporated therein. DISTRIBUTOR will cooperate with TITANIUM in pursuing such protection, including without limitation executing and delivering to TITANIUM such instruments as may be required to register or perfect TITANIUM's interests in any Intellectual Property Rights and any assignments thereof.
