Common use of Ocean Shipments Clause in Contracts

Ocean Shipments. Shipper shall give Superior written notice of any claim for damage, shortage or loss in writing within 10 days after the delivery of the shipment to consignee. In the event that Shipper, or any party other than Superior, arranges for the shipment to be picked up at the port, notice of claim shall be given within three days from the date such carrier, warehouseman or other persons takes possession of the shipment at the port.
