Common use of OECD Non-Member Countries Clause in Contracts

OECD Non-Member Countries. The government of any country which is not a member of the OECD may, on the approval of the Executive Committee, acting by unanimity and, where required, with the approval of the Committee for Energy Research and Technology, be invited to participate as a Contracting Party in this Agreement (or to designate a national agency, public organisation, private corporation or other entity to do so). Such admissions of a Contracting Party shall become effective upon the signature of this Agreement by the new Contracting Party or its accession thereto and its giving Notice of Participation in one or more Annexes.
