Off-grid Electricity Access Project Sample Clauses
The Off-Grid Electricity Access Project clause establishes the framework and requirements for providing electricity to areas not connected to the main power grid. Typically, this clause outlines the responsibilities of the parties involved in developing, installing, and maintaining off-grid energy solutions such as solar panels, mini-grids, or other renewable technologies. It may specify performance standards, timelines, and funding arrangements to ensure reliable and sustainable energy access. The core function of this clause is to facilitate the delivery of electricity to underserved communities, addressing energy poverty and supporting local development where traditional grid extension is not feasible.
Off-grid Electricity Access Project. Objective has the meaning provided in paragraph 4(a) of Part B Annex I.
Off-grid Electricity Access Project. The Evaluation design for the Off-Grid Electricity Access Project will be determined once final Project design is completed. The final list of Evaluation questions will continue to be defined into the CIF period, but an initial list of potential research questions is below. In addition to questions regarding the quality of Project design, the soundness of the Program logic, the fidelity of Program implementation and lessons learned (common question for all evaluations), the Evaluation could be focused on answering the following questions:
1. To what extent has the Off-Grid Policy been implemented?
2. From the perspectives of sector actors, how helpful has the new policy been for facilitating new entries to the off-grid market? And from the perspective of potentially interested companies/organizations?
3. Outside of the OCEF Activity, how many new entrants are there to the off-grid market in Benin? What were their experiences with the new process?
4. To what extent has access to electricity changed as a result of the OCEF Activity?
